The Best Ho Chi Minh City Clubs

Vasco’s

A very chic and expensive restaurant by day, but a very lively spot and nightclub by night. There are many amazing clubs and bars at the courtyard in 71 Hai Ba Trung, but this is by far the most entertaining. It’s situated in a colonial style house and used to serve as an opium factory. In it you find a bar, great food and pool tables. It houses occasional events with DJ names that might sound familiar. The chicness attracts elite, but it’s a popular hangout for any budget. Check out the happy hours which are from 4 to 8 pm every night. Innovative cocktails will be served, or ask for an amazing wine from the wine cellar. Vasco’s has a second Ho Chi Minh City club near a lake at The Crescent, but it sure is not as sparkling as this.

Mua Rung 

Mua Rung, or Tropical Rainforest Disco in English is the most popular Ho Chi Minh City club. Decorated entirely in an Amazonian rainforest style, you’re sure to be taken places. It offers a fascinating cocktail list on a dance floor that used to be a lounge. The lounge music is still there, but it also offers a widened variety of music and styles. The club is easy to get to from almost anywhere in the city.

Samsara

Samsara is a popular Ho Chi Minh city club for the gay and lesbian crowd. Waiters serve in shirtless vests. DJ’s are amazing and are sure to rock your world. Go on Friday and Saturday as these nights are the most popular! Samsara bar is located in District 1, a popular nightlife place so you will be sure to find more around here.

Apocalypse Now

This is the oldest nightclub known in Ho Chi Minh City. It’s also the most favorable to many people, hence this club offers a nice mix of tourists, expats and locals. Dance, techno, and pop tunes strike all night but the club really gets going after 11pm. It’s the most successful club in Ho Chi Minh City and decorated in a movie-like theme. Fans revolve on the ceiling as if they are helicopter blades. A large outside area is available which is more silent and offers conversation opportunities. Food is served here and pool tables are also available.

Hi-Fi Saigon Nightclub

Located in District 1, this is probably the biggest nightclub you’ll find in Ho Chi Min City. This ultimate-mega club stands out with it’s grand lights and interesting decorations. International DJs have played here often and the list continues to grow. The club usually opens at 8pm but it gets busier later at night. Thursdays to Saturdays are the most popular nights of the week for this club.
